  • What is acm-icpc


    • Acm-icpc enjoys a very high-profile in field of computer science. These competitions in which team competitors participate are aimed at designing algorithm for given problems and the implementation of the algorithm in a pre-determined time constraint. Each team consists of 3 members. They should be knowledgeable in terms of algorithm designing, programming and English.

  • Holding a forum entitled acm


    • Initially, the Computer Science Forum made an attempt to make students familiar with the competitions through providing and distributing handbooks. Due to the students'growing interest in these competitions, the university decided to launch a seminar and workshop titled acm in October 2008 in Allame Rafiee Auditorium. Dr. Nazemi , a member of Shahid Beheshti University's faculty and a professor at QIAU gave a lecture to encourage the students to get more familiar with acm. Then, Dr. Nurollah a faculty member of Qazvin Islamic Azad University elaborated on acm competitions in Iran and in the world .Finally, since these competitions were run under a software called pc2, Eng. Ashkan Ferdowsi held a workshop to make students familiar with this software.

  • The first round of Internal acm league


    • The first round of acm league was held at the university's site B in 2008. 14 teams consisting of 36 members participated in these competitions. Click here to see the results.
